摘要
Catalytic and non-catalytic technologies that can be applied in combinations to control air emissions from the fluid catalytic cracking unit (FCCU) were discussed. The flue gas entered the scrubbers where intensive contact between the gas and liquid removed both the particulates and SOx. Selecting technology to comply with environmental requirements was influenced by the specifics of the application and the overall goals of the facility.
