摘要
By using CaSO4·2H2O as activating agent, grinding 2.0 h, the iron ore tailing has volcano activity. When its content was 0.5%, activity index and flexural strength ratio of 7 d and 28 d were raised to maximum, therefore the cementitious activity of iron ore tailing was greatly stimulated. Meanwhile, the activation mechanism was studied by infrared spectroscopy and micro heat method, and the result indicated that under the coupling action of chemical and mechanical, the disordered materials of iron ore tailings powder was increased, and the secondary hydration phase of cement aluminum was promoted by adding the iron ore tailings powder, then the cementitious activity was significantly improved. © 2016, The Editorial Board of Journal of Basic Science and Engineering.
