摘要
The electromagnetic missile launch (EMML) technology is a kind of new concept launch technology that uses the electrical energy instead of chemical energy, and it has revolutionary influences on the missile and missile launch technology. Aiming at increasing the efficiency and power density, we propose the EMML technology based on the linear flux-switching permanent magnet machine (LFSPMM). The proposed scheme has the advantages of simple and strong rotor structure of the linear induction motor and high power density of the linear permanent magnet synchronous motor. So it is suitable for high speed operation and easy to modularize and extend. The linear motor is selected to be in series magnet circuit with the bilateral winding structure to reduce the quality of the secondary rotor. The capacitors are selected in the pulsed power supply, and the multi inverter parallel scheme is used. The prototype is designed and the experiments show that the proposed method is fast and stable in the maximum operating speed and maximum operating frequency, and the braking process is safe and reliable. © 2016, High Voltage Engineering Editorial Department of CEPRI.
