摘要
The electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) technology was used to measure the minimum fluidization velocities of Geldart A particles in fluidized bed. The results show that the fluctuation of solid fraction obtained from the ECT images can be well related to the pressure drop profile along the bed by altering the gas velocity. As the pressure drop across the fluidized bed is considered as a standard method for determining the minimum fluidization velocity, which provides a method for measuring the minimum fluidization velocity of Geldart A particles. © 2016, Central South University Press.
