The accelerating rate of technological change in the defense sector continues to pose challenges. The MoD’s Heather Goldstraw says that there still remains a culture within the defense sector that it has to be a leader in technology and not a follower. He also states that such an attitude can be counter-productive, because it means the sector risks missing out on possibly useful technologies developed for other industries.
