The operation of converter devices of a new class in alternating current and direct current electric power transmissions

摘要：

Steady state operating conditions of converting devices based on gate turn-off thyristors or bipolar transistors are analyzed. The destination of converting devices is a autonomous control of a power flow in AC power lines and an operation as rectifiers and inverters in DC lines and links.
