摘要
A multi-chamber silo for storing cements and GGBF slag meal with integral mixing plant for producing slag cements as a standard production procedure came into operation in May 2012 at HeidelbergCement AG's Hanover cement plant. This meant that not only could the Hanover cement plant's former section No. 2 with its substandard technology be shut down but bottlenecks in the cement grinding process were eliminated, the range of marketable slag cements was extended and the quality of the slag cements was significantly improved. So far about 5000001 of separately ground and subsequently mixed slag cements have been produced with the new mixing plant and sold to the complete satisfaction of the customers.
