Clearing the air

Filtration systems from companies such as Luwa Bahnson, Pneumafil, Industrial Air, LTG and others are reviewed. Their function is to eliminate product contamination from particulate matter and comply with government regulations. The equipment is smaller, more efficient and facilitates ease of installation in new applications and retrofitting of older facilities. Preassembled systems also reduce installation, labor and engineering costs. The Luwa Bahnson Insta-Filter, a primary and secondary filtration unit, is described with the functions of the component parts. The Pneumafil Rotary Pleated Belt Filter is also preassembled on a steel base and prewired, including controls. The Pneumafil Everclean modular system is detailed. Other equipment from both companies is included. LTG Inc., Spartanburg, has become a systems and component resource for filtration, conditioning and waste reclamation.
