摘要
This paper considers the problem of the enlargement of the domain of attraction for control systems with nested saturation in the input. We propose a new anti-windup approach with an output-based activation mechanism of the anti-windup compensator. Different from the existing saturation-based anti-windup control systems, the output signal of the saturated system is injected into the activation module of the anti-windup compensator through a performance compensator, resulting in a new activation mechanism that contains the real-time information of the system performance. The introduction of the system output signal leads to appropriate time to activate the anti-windup compensator. Under the resulting antiwindup framework, we establish sufficient conditions for the existence of the gains of the anti-windup compensator and performance compensator. Based on these conditions, the optimization problem is formulated for the optimal gains that enlarge the domain of attraction for the closed-loop system. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach. © 2023 South China University of Technology. All rights reserved.
