A report is presented on online retailers. An eRetailer relies on its WMS to deliver custom-mixed beauty products to consumers. A WMS to support fulfillment of the make-to-order beauty products had to include the ability to track materials and processes for customized naming. Providing make-to-order products is a key competitive strategy for online retailers as they compete with their brick-and-mortar counterparts.
