A thermal conductivity model of aerated concrete based on its pore structure and bulk density is proposed. The pore structure parameters can be characterized by a Matlab-based image analysis method. The result show that the relationship between bulk density and thermal conductivity can use the equation y=0.175-3.944e(-x/123.32); and the equation y=0.133+1.113E8×e(-x/1.13) can be applied to the porosity and thermal conductivity. According to the verification; the maximum error is 2.16%. Two equation used in conjunction can guide the practice to predict the thermal conductivity. © 2014 ejge;
