摘要
We present the results of an experimental investigation into the boiling of water on fine-porous capillary structures of suspensional formation and highly porous cellular materials (HPCM) of different thickness. Comparison is made between the experimental results obtained for HPCM and metal-fibrous capillary structures in dimensionless coordinates, according to the wellknown model of evaporation from the surface of the menisci of a capillary structure. A conclusion is drawn from the results of comparison that for large-pore heat-conductive capillary structures such as HPCM and metal fibrous materials the same mechanism of boiling is realized.
