摘要
A highly effective approach to make high-performance microwave absorbers is done by developing porous and lightweight magnetic composites based on carbon. A variety of materials were being investigated for their potential to function effectively as EMI or microwave (MW) shielding materials. In the present scenario, CoFe2O4/Activated Carbon (CF/AC) nanocomposites were made utilizing through one-step polymeric precursor technique. On modifying, the synthesis process allows for a reasonable adjustment of the crystallisation, micromorphology, magnetic characteristics and electromagnetic parameters. The prepared composite has a maximum absorption bandwidth of 8.0 GHz for the CF/AC ratio of 8:10 at a thickness of 3.2mm and a maximum reflection loss of-13.47 dB for the CF/AC ratio of 10:10 at a thickness of 2mm. It is a comparatively ideal material for absorbing electromagnetic waves. © 2023. Carbon Magics Ltd.
