Banks are increasingly adopting biometric technology in their drive to better identify new customers, securely authenticate existing customers, protect high-value transactions and combat fraud. In fact, as banks deploy biometrics everywhere from traditional physical branches to the latest digital platforms, this technology is proving to be the sole reliable means to authenticate and secure banking customers across all channels. © 2018 Elsevier Ltd
