摘要
This paper summarizes the development from digital mock-up to digital twin, thus clearly clarifying the connotation of digital twin from prospective of digital product definition. Firstly, taking the relevant practices in Airbus as example, the evolution of the digital mock-up’s connotation is introduced, by which the essence of dig-ital product definition can be illustrated. Secondly, based on the state of the art of digital twin, the definition and purpose of digital twin concept are fully elaborated, accompanied by the thorough differentiation analysis be-tween digital twin and cyper-physical system as well as the augmentation for digital twin and digital product def-inition’s relationship. Finally, the key support techniques for fulfilling the digital twin concept are deduced. © 2018, Beijing China Science Journal Publishing Co. Ltd. All right reserved.
