A new rubber additive that increases the reversion resistance and adhesion

摘要
The paper deals shortly with reversion of cure reactions in the vulcanizates during overcure at high temperatures and shows some results gained with application of an antirevision additive in rubber compounds. The presence of the additive in this rubber compounds significantly reduces the undesirable reverse reactions. Because it slightly increases the network density of the vulcanizates, it enables to decrease the sulphur dosage and in this way to gain vulcanizates with improved heat stability. It also tends to improve the dynamic properties and the adhesion of the vulcanizates to reinforcing materials.
