摘要
Based on studies undertaken with a pilot-scale grinding plant, possibilities for increasing the throughput and lowering the specific electric power requirement as well as the wear incurred during wet fine grinding in tumbling mills are discussed. Particular focuses of this discussion are changes in the grinding media filling percentage, the level of slurry in the mill, and the type and design of the cylinder liner. An indication of the complexity of the relations between the different parameters is also given.
