The fall in the prices of the market pulp in Europe is discussed. The spot prices in Europe have reached a range of $380/tonne to $400/tonne. The lower end of the price band is unlikely to fall by more than $10/tonne. There is roughly another $20/tonne for northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) to fall in gross contract price terms.
