Synthesis, Structure and Magnetic Properties of the Sandwich-type Tungstoarsenates Containing Tetrametallic Cluster [M4(H2O)2(AsW9O34) 2]10-(M=CuII, CoII, MnII, NiII, ZnII)

摘要
The compounds [M4(H2O)2(AsW9O34) 2]10-(M=CuII, CoII, MnII, NiII, ZnII) were synthesized and characterized by IR, UV, elemental analysis and magnetic measurements. These compounds are isostructural to the P derivatives and comprise a rhomb-like M4O16 group encapsulated between two fragments of the trivacant Keggin polyanion [AsW9O34]9-. The crystal structures of the MnII and CuII derivatives were compared with that of the P derivatives. The MnII derivative exhibits antiferromagnetic Mn - Mn exchange interactions and S=0 ground state.
