Vallviks Bruk has appealed a court ruling that it must install a biological wastewater treatment plant at its market pulp mill in Vallvik, Sweden. The Environmental Rights Court of Appeal ruled on May 20, 2003, that the treatment plant must be operational before December 31, 2005. The company argues that it is not necessary to install a biological wastewater treatment plant at the mill as it is moving toward a closed loop system.
