摘要
The Shihuiyao outcrop area, located in the northwestern Tarim Basin, is a typical outcrop area. It has a good spatial correlation with the deep buried Carbonate karst rocks of the Cambrian in Tarim Basin. It takes the carbonate karst reservoir outcrop as the research object, by using field investigation, thin section observation and geochemical analysis test. The results indicate that the development of karst reservoir is obviously related to faults, which shows different structure and combination characteristics in the vertical and horizontal directions. The filling materials are mainly calcite and cryptocrystalline siliceous minerals. Geochemical analysis shows that the main diagenetic fluid of the Cambrian formation in the Shihuiyao outcrop area is meteoric water, which may be accompanied by mixed fluid of meteoric water and formation water. The long-term activity of NNE and NE faults provide a good channel for meteoric water from the surface. The faults is beneficial to the fluids to reform the stratum, and the karst belongs to the fault-karst model. It concludes that faults plays an important role in the formation of karst. © 2021, Editorial Office of Journal of China University of Petroleum(Edition of Natural Science). All right reserved.
