摘要
In order to improve quality of steel, efficient technology of its ladle treatment should be applied. In connection with this, reconstruction of complex for ladle treatment the steel has been performed. This makes it possible to provide efficient treatment of the steel. The steel is produced in open-hearth furnace with the use of cast iron. Slag cut-off is performed during the steel tapping. Refractory lining of the ladle is made from high-alumina materials. Basic refractories are utilized in slag zone. The steel is blown with argon. New slag is formed in order to perform desulfurization of the steel. Addition of calcium leads to decrease in content of inclusions in the steel.
