To provide references and guidance for scheduling problem of cloud manufacturing, a comprehensive review of existing works was presented. The operational mode of cloud manufacturing and its relevant scheduling issues in cloud manufacturing were analyzed. The latest advances of research on scheduling in cloud manufacturing were summarized and analyzed, which included scheduling of computational and manufacturing resources in cloud manufacturing platform and scheduling on enterprises and factory shop floors. Theories and technologies related to cloud manufacturing scheduling were presented. The complexity of scheduling issues in cloud manufacturing was pointed out, and an outlook on future research trends was presented. © 2017, Editorial Department of CIMS. All right reserved.
