NEARLY $20 billion in venture capital is invested in the US per quarter! A closer examination of the statistics shows a majority of the investment goes into Web.2 and mobile applications and later stage startup companies; only a minuscule fraction goes into seed-stage hardware companies. © 2016 IEEE.
