IABSE symposium Kolkata, India 2013

The 36th International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE) Symposium will be held in Kolkata, India, from September 24-27, 2013, which has large span roof structures and long span bridges as the two major themes. Civil and structural engineers, architects and associated professionals interested in the latest achievements and developments in research, design, construction, monitoring, maintenance and performance of long span infrastructure works are invited to participate. Additionally, special sessions on 'Poverty Alleviation and Disaster Management', and a 'Young Engineers Programme' will be organized. Technical visits and excursions will be arranged during the event.
