Modeling agent-based semantic Web services with Petri nets

When executing, services on the semantic web can be available as a semantically described behaviors within FIPA compliant agents (user agents, middle agents and service agents) that makes the services execute with intelligent behaviors. When a service user needs some different services to achieve his goal, these services should be combined into a composite service. We will show how to model and analyze dynamic performance semantic of the composite service with Petri nets that will help user agents determine to execute and adapt the service.
