The European Telecommunications Standards Institute launched the Industry Specification Group on Experiential Networked Intelligence in February 2017. This article provides a comprehensive review of the status of this work, including the work on use cases, requirements, reference architecture, and proof of concept, and gives insights regarding its future direction. © 2017 IEEE.
