摘要
The combined effects of Soret (thermal-diffusion) and Dufour (diffusion-thermo) on steady MHD mixed convection heat and mass transfer of a micropolar fluid near stagnation point on a stretching sheet embedded in a porous medium in the presence of slip velocity at the surface, thermal radiation, heat generation and first-order chemical reaction are studied. The governing partial differential equations describing the problem are converted into a system of non-linear ordinary differential equations using similarity transformations, then solved numerically using the fourth order Rung- Kutta integration scheme coupled with the shooting method. Favorable comparisons with previously published works on various special cases of the problem are obtained. The effects of various parameters entering into the problem on the velocity, the angular velocity, the temperature and the concentration profiles are illustrated graphically. Also, the effects of various parameters on the local skin-friction coefficient, the local Nusselt number and the local Sherwood number are given in tabular form and discussed.
