摘要：
The important aspects involved in the making of eco-friendly carpets were presented. Nylon carpet was stated to offer the best combination of affordability, performance and decreased environmental impact due to its light weight, durability, cleanability and recycling ability. Woven carpets were stronger, and much easier to recycle than the tufted carpets. The importance of minimising volatile-organic-materials after carpet installation was also emphasised.
