The problem of asynchronous robust fault detection filter design for the switched systems is considered in the framework of mixed H_/H∞. H_ performance represents the sensitivity index of residual to fault, and weighted H∞ performance is the robustness indicator of residual to disturbance. First of all, multiple Lyapunov functions and average dwell time approach are used for deriving the preliminary conditions of asynchronous filter design. Then the couple between the Lyapunov matrix and the system matrix is removed by the the slack variables, and further results are obtained. All of results are in the form of the linear matrix inequality. Finally, a simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2017, Editorial Office of Control and Decision. All right reserved.
