摘要
The movement of pollution particles around insulator will cause the pollution deposit on insulator surface. Commonly the atmosphere particle size is 0.1~100 μm, while the size of haze particles is less than 10 μm. We adopted the software of FLUENT to simulate the characteristics of the air flow field of XWP2-70 insulators with double sheds, and studied the pollution particle collision coefficient of insulator surface under different particle diameters and wind velocities. At the same time, we carried out a natural pollution accumulation test which lasted for 8 months in the natural pollution deposition basement. Test results indicate that wind velocity affects air flow field near the surface of insulator, and the collision coefficient P of pollution particles of insulators is affected by haze particle diameters and wind velocity. The obtained results can provide references for establishing pollution deposition model under haze conditions, which is of great significance for the external insulation design and selection of transmission lines. ©, 2014, Science Press.
