On the theory and the applicational advantages of asymmetric digital subscriber line

This essay introduces Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL), a new transmission technology of broad-band access network, goes further into ADSL basic theory and key technology, compares its advantages and disadvantages with the old technology of access network, and shows its future development.
