摘要
Plate-like SrBi2Nb2O9powders were prepared by molten salt synthesis process using Bi2O3, Nb2O5and SrCO3as source materials and KCl-NaCl as salt fluxes at 800-1000°C. The effects of the molten salt content as well as the synthesized temperature on the grain orientation growth and the morphology of the SrBi2Nb2O9powders were investigated. The results present that the molten salt synthesis process is an effective way for the development of grain orientation compared with the conventional mixed oxides method, by which the powders appear to be plate-like with high degree anisotropy and without agglomerating. The optimum molten salt content for the preferential growth along (001) is 60 wt%. The grain size increases with the increase of molten salt content and the optimal temperature for obtaining larger size and higher degree anisotropy SrBi2Nb2O9powders is about 900°C.
