摘要
Almost forty years ago, astrophysicists discovered that our universe was bathing in a cosmic electromagnetic noise. Soon interpreted as a primordial universe relic, this fossil radiation is now considered as a fundamental element of cosmology. We refer to the date of 1965 and to the names of Penzias and Wilson when this radiation is mentionned. However its history has begun in the 1940s and is still going on today. It is this fascinating history filled with failures, coincidences and successes, that is related in this paper.
