摘要
Al2O3/Graphene (Al2O3/GS) composite powders were synthesized by a simple hydrothermal method with Al2O3 as a precursor. This process was based on the electrostatic self-assembly mechanism. This process was based on the electrostatic self-assembly mechanism. The phase composition and microstructure of Al2O3/GS composite powders were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning electronic microscopy and transmission electron microscopy, respectively. Al2O3/GS composite ceramic materials were prepared by a hot-press sintering technology. The influence of GS content on the properties of Al2O3/GS was investigated. In addition, the mechanical properties of Al2O3/GS composite ceramic materials were also measured by an electronic universal testing instrument. It is indicated that the mechanical properties of composites doped with 0.75% graphene exhibit the maximum flexural strength of 460.8 MPa and the fracture toughness of 7.9 MPa·m1/2, respectively. © 2016, Chinese Ceramic Society.
