摘要
Various aspects of crack control in concrete ground floors were discussed. To control cracks, the need is to develop mix designs that minimize drying shrinkage, which is a function of the water content, cement composition, aggregate type and size and relative humidity. It is also essential to minimize the risk that the slab top level and the sub-base top surface are both out of tolerance at the same point. The slab top level and the sub-base top surface should be in the adverse condition to reduce the slab thickness.
