摘要
Probabilistic fatigue cumulative damage theory is the key issue of product reliability assessment and fatigue life prediction, which focuses on the probability distributions of the instantaneous cumulative damage and the critical damage. Based on the fundamental relationship between stress and fatigue life (that is, the equation of S-N curve), a probability density function of fatigue life was derived from the probability density function of stress; Then, a probabilistic model of fatigue cumulative damage was proposed based on the Miner's rule; Finally, the validity of the proposed model was verified by a practical case. The result shows that the distribution of fatigue cumulative damage is affected by the external factors (characteristics of the load) and the internal factors (fatigue performance parameters of material), and the proposed model can provide a theoretical basis for reliability design and fatigue life prediction. © 2017, Editorial Department of Journal of HEU.
