摘要：
The UK Industry Forum, set up in 2000 under the guidance of Cranfield and Salford Universities, aims to help suppliers and retailers make their supply chains work faster and more efficiently. The article describes the philosophy of the Industry Forum and charts some of its early successes. These include a more realistic assessment of the offshore/onshore question and of associated quality problems.
