A new proof for a fixed point theorem in compact metric spaces

摘要：

In this paper we give another proof for a generalization of Banach's Fixed Point Theorem for compact metric spaces. As particularly cases we also obtain the theorems of Khan and Kannan, as well as a generalization of a theorem due to Nesic'n for compact metric spaces.
