摘要
Starch penetration in various surface sizing parameters, such as linear load and speed (nip dwell time), and such starch properties as solid content and temperature was investigated. Paper produced using different surface sizing methods or process variables have an effect on starch penetration. Starch penetration technology had developed rapidly in recent research and penetration can be measured using reliable starch z-directional distribution information. The result shows the effect of linear load on board strength properties along with it is observe a slight increase in the CMT and Huygen internal bond. The result of this study showed that linear load is as high as 100KN/m and doubling the nip dwell time varying the running speed had less effect on starch penetration. The method introduced for obtained Simulated Starch Content (SSC) distribution curves gives a helpful tool for characterizing the effect of various process parameters on the starch z-distribution of a sheet.
