摘要
The pull-out method was applied to study the adhesive strength of adhesive joints in which a blend composed of an ED-20 epoxy resin and poly(arylene ketone) served as an adhesive and a steel wire with a diameter of 150 μm and poly(amide) fibers with a diameter of 300 μm were used as substrates. The concentration of poly(arylene ketone) in the blends ranged from 5 to 15 wt %. It was shown that the introduction of a heat-resistant thermoplastic into the ED-20 resin leads to an increase in the strength of the polymer blend-fiber interface. The possible mechanisms were advanced to describe the increase in the adhesive strength of adhesive joints of polymer blends to fibers.
