The signing of a long-term agreement by American Tissue with GE Capital to operate the Memphis, Tennessee mill is reported. The company is also finalising the purchase of the Keiffer Paper Mills deinked pulp mills in Brownstown, Indiana. It is also reported that the company is also mulling plans to purchase Plainwell's two tissue mills in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Ransom, Pennsylvania.
