摘要
Growing need of transportation is pushing scientists towards the better option other than conventional internal combustion engines. One of the most effective ways to reduce the effects of these IC engines is the use of electric vehicle. This paper consists of a comprehensive overview on integration of electric vehicles to the grid. Vehicle to grid (V2G) technology and its effects on the grid have been depicted along with the challenges faced during the process. ULTRA, FAST, ECO and V2G modes in which the vehicles can be connected to the grid and importance of each mode in their aspects are also discussed here. All the modes combined cover the entire population’s demand regarding the charging system which is the major area of research for energy management domain. © 2022.
