Front-end design of Web applications is a complex and multidisciplinary task, where many perspectives intersect. A new standard modeling language called IFML (Interaction Flow Modeling Language) addresses this problem in a platform-independent way. IFML grants executability of models and binding to other aspects of system and enterprise design through integration with widespread software modeling languages such as UML, BPMN, SysML, SoaML and the whole MDA suite. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2014
