摘要：
The opportunities in printing industries created by new technology are discussed. According to a Heidelberg sponsored Printing Industries of America (PIA) survey, some 1,700 printing operations of all sizes were shut down in 2001. Printers need to transform themselves into businesses that embrace digital technology. The Internet is valuable in communicating with customers.
