Investigation of heat conduction of structural ceramic materials

Heat conduction of ceramic and refractory materials on basis of Al2O3 has been investigated by experimental and theoretical methods. Mathematical models of heat conduction have been developed with the use of regression equations. The initial materials and refractories after holding at 1700°C have been studied. Results of the investigations have shown that efficient heat conduction of the initial materials in area of low temperatures is higher than that of refractories subjected to high-temperature aging. Heat conduction of the initial materials in area of high temperatures is lower than that of refractories subjected to high-temperature aging.
