Finite stripe method for the static and dynamic analysis of plates on two parameter elastic foundation

The plates on Pasternak's two parameter elastic foundation were discussed. With finite strip method and Lagrangian equation, a set of governing differential equations was established to solve the displacements and internal forces of plates on Pasternak's elastic foundation under different loads and with different boundary conditions. This method was also applied in the dynamical analysis of plates on two parameter elastic foundation. Results indicated that with the increase of k and Gp, the natural frequency of plates on elastic foundation increased. A numerical example was given, which has showed that the method is correct and feasible.
