Nonlinear robust control based on adaptive backstepping design for STATCOM

摘要
For a single-machine infinite-bus system with STATCOM affected by internal and external disturbances, the storage functions of this system were constructed based on adaptive backstepping method. A nonlinear L2 gain disturbance attenuation controller and a parameter update law were obtained. The controller can attenuate the influences of external disturbances on system output, and has strong robustness for system parameters variety because the damping coefficient is considered in internal parameter uncertainty. The design procedure based on the adaptive backstepping method is systematic and concise.
