摘要
The solution of conveyor problems by computer simulation was discussed. The ability to simulate conveyors and the dynamics of high-volume bulk materials handling problems on a computer helps engineers to design better transfers and chutes. Discrete element modeling (DEM), a type of finite difference mathematical scheme, helps to solve real-world problems. Computer simulation is described as the discipline to design model of a physical system, executing the model on a computer and analyzing the results. Computer simulation using DEM technology is reported to become the state-of-art in conveyor transfer design.
