It was reported that Ferro Corp. sold its petroleum additives business to Dover Chemicals. It was also reported that Ferro also announced a significant shortfall in upcoming second quarter earnings on sluggish volumes. According to the industrial sources, Ferro expects to post underlying earnings of 13 cents to 15 cents per share for the second quarter which is 33 cents less than what Wall Street was expecting.
